MUSCAT: The Shura Council hosts His Excellency Dr Saeed bin Muhammad Al-Saqri, Minister of Economy to deliver his ministry’s statement in its eighth regular session of the third annual session of the ninth term of the Council.

The council will discuss five axes, which are assessing the process of economic diversification in the Sultanate of Oman through the Oman Vision 2040, the economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the national economy, and discussing the performance of the strategic programs of the tenth five-year plan (2021-2025).

Also, assessing the performance of the development budget for the ninth five-year plan (2016-2020) and the ministry’s economic vision during the current plan for several issues, including job seekers and demographic variables in the medium and long-term will be discussed.
