MUSCAT: Ministry of Health has cancelled the attestation fee of OMR 5 for the COVID-19 PCR negative certificate for the purpose of travelling outside Oman.
In a circular issued, MOH has clarified that the negative COVID-19 certificate must only contain QR code. “The accreditation fee (OMR 5) has been cancelled, and the examination result report containing the QR code is sufficient,“ MOH said.
Earlier those travelling from outside Oman used to pay an additional fee of OMR 5 towards getting the accreditation stamp on the PCR test result. “They need not print the PCR certificate, a digital format (PDF) with OR code is enough for travel. Results must be registered in Tarassud,” MOH confirmed.
