MUSCAT: India’s COVID-19 guidelines for international travellers has scrapped the mandatory quarantine period and pre-departure RT-PCR tests. The revised Covid-19 guidelines will come into effect from Monday, February 14.
As per the new guidelines, people travelling from 82 countries including Oman can upload their RT-PCR test or their vaccination certificate on the Air Suvidha portal which has been updated reflecting this change.
The ministry listed 82 countries and regions that are allowed to upload vaccination certificates and skip the mandatory testing rule. The list includes Australia, Canada, Denmark, Hong Kong, Maldives, Nepal, Oman, Qatar, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, USA, New Zealand, Switzerland, Israel, Bangladesh, Iran, Mexico, and the Netherlands among many others.

The Air Suvidha self-declaration form has been changed for travellers heading to India starting from Monday, February 14. All international passengers arriving at India will now require to fill a form ahead of their travel. Passengers will need to upload their passport information, flight details, vaccination certification and contact information on the Air Suvidha self-declaration form.
