MUSCAT: Oman witnessed a 4% rise in real estate trading in 2021 to reach over OMR 2 billion , the country’s Minister of Housing and Urban Planning said on Monday.
Addressing the media to discuss the Ministry’s plan for 2022, His Excellency Khalfan Al Shuaili said a total of OMR 2.552 billion trading was done last year, while OMR 72.5 million was received as revenues.
Meanwhile, the Minister said housing aid has been approved for nearly 2,000 families at a cost of OMR 47 million.
