MUSCAT: His Excellency Dr. Khalfan bin Saeed bin Mubarak Al Shuaili, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning said that 2022 can be considered a year of transparency, after the comprehensive digital transformation of the Ministry in 2021.
In the media dialogue of the ministry, the minister added that the transactions received by his office in 2021 amounted to about 3,000, while in 2020 it was about 8,000, and in 2019 it was 50,000.
His Excellency mentioned that the reason for this is the citizen’s awareness that the minister is not the official who has all the powers to complete the requests in his office, especially with the distribution of powers to the ministry officials.
