MUSCAT: The Royal Oman Police on Sunday arrested a motorist after an Omani citizen was killed in a hit-and-run incident in Muscat.
In a statement issued, ROP said person did not stop his vehicle and left the “scene of the accident.”
“The Muscat Governorate Police Command, in cooperation with the General Department of Criminal Investigation arrested a person accused of running over a citizen and fleeing from the scene of the accident, causing his death,” ROP said in the statement.
