MUSCAT: British cyclist Mark Cavendish of the Belgian Quick Step team achieves first place at the conclusion of the second stage of the Tour of Oman 2022.
The second stage of The Tour of Oman 2022 started in front of Al-Naseem Park in the Wilayat of Barka and ended at the beach of the Wilayat of Sohar for a distance of 167.5 km.
The event is organised by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, with the participation of Oman National Cycling team and 18 international teams represented by 126 participants from Europe, Asia, America and Australia. The race will last for six days with a total length of 891 kilometres divided in six stages.
