MUSCAT: Oman Sustainability Week, scheduled to be held from 13 to 17 March, constitutes a national platform to highlight Oman’s commitment to leading sustainability through innovative strategies in line with the United Nations sustainable development goals, and to engage stakeholders in national development to provide Oman as a model for sustainable development.
Oman Sustainability Week will focus on several areas, namely clean water and sanitation, clean and affordable energy, industry, innovation and infrastructure, climate action and life on Earth.
It stressed that more than 200 exhibiting companies representing more than 25 countries are expected to participate in the Oman Sustainability Week exhibition, which will gather around 6000 visitors, including industry stakeholders, policy makers, sustainability experts and industry leaders, with the aim of increasing public awareness and participation in sustainability principles. The week will include an exhibition, featuring the latest sustainability technologies, solutions and initiatives from around the world.
