MUSCAT: The second meeting of senior officials between the Sultanate of Oman and the European Union at the level of technical working groups was held on Tuesday at the General Court of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
This comes within the framework of the Agreement on Cooperation Arrangements between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the European Union’s External Action Service signed in December 2018, and will last for two days.
The Omani side was headed by His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Diplomatic Affairs, while the European side was headed by His Excellency Karl Hallergaard, Deputy Director General for the Middle East and North Africa at the European Department for External Action.

During the meeting, topics related to joint cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and the European Union in various fields were discussed. The meeting was attended by a number of officials from both sides.
