MUSCAT: Oman’s Foreign Minister His Excellency Sayyid Badr Al Busaidi paid glowing tributes to legendary Indian singer Lata Mangeshkar who died on Sunday at the age of 92.
In a statement issued, Al Busaidi said the legacy of the “nightingale of India” who gave her voice to Indian movies for more than 70 years will shine brightly in the hearts of millions around the world.
“Our deepest condolences to our friends in India upon the loss of the legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar and to all the millions of fans who were inspired and touched by her magical voice. Her legacy will shine brightly in the hearts of millions around the world,” Al Busaidi said.
