MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik sent a telegram of condolences and sympathy to his brother, His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait, on the death of the late Sheikh Hamad Badr Khaled Al-Salman Al-Sabah who was 60 years old.
The late Sheikh Hamad was laid to rest at 9 am on Monday.
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik also sent a cable of condolences and sympathy to His Excellency Katerina Sakellaropoulou, Greek President, on the death of former Greek President Christos Sartzetakis.
