MUSCAT: At the high commission of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq al-Mu’azam and sponsored by His Excellency Salem bin Mohammed al-Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism, participated in the second donor conference of the International Alliance for the Protection of Heritage in conflict zones held at the Louvre museum in Paris under the auspices of the French President.
His Excellency the Minister of Heritage and Tourism conveyed his Majesty the Sultan’s greetings and wishes for this conference with success and success in his work in support of the Global Alliance for the Protection of Cultural Heritage.
His Excellency explained in his speech that Oman has affirmed its commitment and support to all international efforts aimed at protecting and sustaining cultural heritage in areas of armed conflict and combating the illegal trade in cultural property.
