MUSCAT: His Excellency Dr. Qassim bin Muhammad Al-Salihi, Oman’s ambassador to Turkey, visited the Georgian ambassador accredited to the Republic of Turkey, George Jangava, to discuss the issues of Omani citizens entering Georgia and the bilateral relations between the two countries.
This visit comes after the return of a number of Omanis from Georgia airport three weeks ago. His Excellency confirmed that he will address the Georgian authorities to find out the merits of the matter and the reasons that led to that, advising to avoid going to Georgia at the present time until the reasons are revealed.
