MUSCAT: Malayalam love song Pranayame from the upcoming short film Canvas produced by The Arabian Stories (TAS) has captured the stunning beauty of Oman and has gone viral on social media.

Directed by Nishad Padiyarath, Pranayame features newbies Ajmal Huzain and Ghazal. The song has been extensively shot across Oman and has already received rave reviews online. “Oman is a visual paradise. That’s what we have tried to capture. We have covered Salalah, Jabal Akhdhar, Muscat and Yiti to showcase the beauty of Oman,” said Nishad Padiyarath, the CEO of TAS.

Canvas features some of the best technical team from the movie industry. Pranayame is sung by young singing sensation Ayraan, composed by Praveen Francis and written by Reena Rahman. Popular Indian sound company, Sync Cinema, which has worked on Vineeth Sreenivasan’s Hridayam and Mohanlal’s magnum-opus Marakkar, has worked on Canvas soon to be released in May 2022. Purushottam Kanji Exchange and Markaz Al Bahja are the associate partners for the short film.
