MUSCAT : Due to the recent rise in Covid 19 cases in the Sultanate, the decision has been made to postpone the Al Mouj Muscat Marathon 2022, which was due to take place on the weekend of February 11-12 at Al Mouj Muscat. This is in the best interest of the event participants and spectators who had planned to attend, to help keep each other safe in these uncertain times.
The rescheduled event will now take place on the weekend of November the 11th and 12th. Please refer to the event website for further details.
Sayyid Aymen al Busaidi, Vice Chairman, Sabco Sports said: “While we know this is disappointing, we hope that athletes, visitors and volunteers understand that this is a necessary step to help keep each other safe in these unprecedented times. We are very grateful to the public for their assistance and understanding of the gravity of the situation. We look forward to the return of the event in November 2022 and are working towards making a bigger and better event.”
