MUSCAT: The medical examination reports of Oman’s first national team player, Salaah Al Yahyaei, showed that he had a second-degree rupture at the level of the hamstring muscle and needed a period of treatment and rehabilitation for at least three weeks before returning to group training and competition, after making sure of his full recovery.
Accordingly, the player will not be able to be a part of the national team heading to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Salaah Al Yahyaei would be completing his treatment with his Qatar SC.

On Thursday, Oman’s first national football team will face its Saudi counterpart at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah in the second leg of the Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar at 9:15 pm.
