MUSCAT: The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism issued a notice against a residential building in Barka in the Governorate of South Al Batinah for violating the tourism law and using the facility as a rest house.
In a statement issued on Monday, the ministry urged all unlicensed establishments to stop practicing their activity and obtain necessary approvals. “The ministry call upon all unlicensed establishments to stop practicing their activity until their conditions are reconciled and they obtain the necessary approvals and licenses to avoid taking legal measures in accordance with the executive regulations of the Tourism Law,” the Ministry said.
