Inspection of internal roads held in Oman

The work progress of the Sint Wadi Al-Ala Road project in the Wilayat of Bahla was also reviewed during the visit.

MUSCAT: His Excellency Eng. Saeed bin Hamoud bin Saeed Al Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, on Monday, paid an inspection visit to the Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah, accompanied by His Excellency Sheikh Ali bin Mansour Al Busaidi, Wali of Bahla, and a number of officials and specialists at the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology.

The inspection was conducted in order to identify the current and future projects implemented by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology. During the visit, the most important challenges facing the current ongoing projects implemented by the ministry were identified, and the paths of future roads for construction were discussed within the ministry’s future plans in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate. 

The visit included the Nizwa – Bahla Road, Basiya Road – Tawi Jiwar – Al Rasis, Wadi Quriyat – Muraikh Road, Al Mudhaibi – Al Habi Road, Kheleh Road and Seih Al Maashi Roads in the Wilayat of Bahla.

The work progress of the Sint Wadi Al-Ala Road project in the Wilayat of Bahla was also reviewed, and the specialists were briefed about the challenges of implementing the project and the proposed solutions.

During the visit, a number of citizens and their Excellencies, members of the Shura Council, representatives of the governorates of Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, and members of the Municipal Council were met, and listened to their needs for services and projects, and their opinions and suggestions about them in order to serve the public aspirations in implementing projects and development programs in the governorate.
