MUSCAT: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) said that the General Department of Criminal Inquiries and Investigations has arrested three people belonging to Arab nationality on charges of human trafficking against women.
The women, who were also of Arab nationality, were deceived by offering job opportunities in the Sultanate of Oman. They were forced to sign cheques by the perpetrators.
The police stated that legal measures have been taken against the accused.
