MUSCAT: The Avani Muscat Hotel which was recently opened in Seeb is an important project to diversify the tourism sector and attract more tourists from both inside and outside Oman, HE Essam bin Saud Al Zedjali, Chairman of Muscat, Municipality has said.
Ismail Bin Yacoub Al Toubi, Chairman of Safari International Group, said that the OMR 23 million-worth hotel is an additional asset to the promising tourism sector and will contribute to meeting the needs of visitors and residents of Oman for business and tourism purposes.
The four-star hotel, owned by Safari International Group and operated by Minor Hotels International, includes 206 hotel rooms, 45 apartments, a 700-person event hall, meeting rooms and other facilities.
