MUSCAT: The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Investment Promotion carried out an inspection campaign that included 334 fuel filling stations in various governorates.

A ministry circular confirmed that the inspection campaign resulted in the registration of 49 violations, represented in the failure to provide air filling machines for car tires, non-compliance with the cleanliness of toilets, lack of shopping stores in some stations, and non-compliance of some stations in general appearance.

The ministry indicated that this came to ensure compliance with the controls, the level of service provision, the provision of basic service requirements, the provision of the best services that reflect the economic and tourism status of the Sultanate of Oman, the commitment to the regulations and regulations issued for the establishment of fuel filling stations, and attention to basic public utilities.
