MUSCAT: Bank Muscat, the leading financial services provider in the Sultanate, recently conducted its Al Mazyona End of Year draw with over OMR 1.5 million in high value prizes being given away to 92 lucky winners, in line with the bank’s commitment to promoting a strong savings culture in the Sultanate. The winners were chosen from amongst customers across the different governorates in the Sultanate, Asalah Priority Banking and Al Jawhar Privilege Banking during the special prize draws, which were conducted in the presence of Abdulnasir Al Raisi, General Manager – Personal Banking, Abdullah Tamman Al Mashani, General Manager – Products, Amjad Iqbal Al Lawati, Deputy General Manager – Customer Segments and Taya Eid Bait Sabeea, Deputy General Manager – Interior Regions.
As many as 70 winners were chosen from across all governorates in the Sultanate, from among customers having a minimum balance of OMR 1,000, with each winner getting OMR 5,000 in the prize draw. High-savings Asalah Priority Banking customers maintaining a minimum balance of OMR 30,000 were entered into special draws wherein 10 lucky customers won OMR 50,000 each. Al Jawhar customers maintaining a minimum balance of OMR 10,000 were entered into special prize draws to choose the 10 lucky winners of OMR 20,000 each. Two mega prizes of OMR 250,000 each were also given away after conducting a prize draw from among all the customers maintaining a minimum balance of OMR 30,000 in their Al Mazyona accounts. In total, more than OMR 1.5 million were given away during the special End of Year draw.
In 2021, a record 7,470 prizes amounting to a total of over OMR 11 million were given away to the winners of the Al Mazyona Savings Scheme. The draws were held in line with the bank’s strategy of promoting a good savings habit in the country, which improves the financial stability of society and economy as a whole. It must be noted that Bank Muscat’s various services and products are in line with global financial trends and enhances the ease of banking for its customers in line with its customer-centric vision “To serve you better, everyday.”
