MUSCAT : Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister held today a session of political talks with Dr. Hossein Amir Abdollahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The session reviewed relations of cooperation between the two countries in various spheres and the means of enhancing them.
The two sides reviewed some regional and international issues of common interest. They also touched on Vienna talks regarding the nuclear agreement “Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA)”, emphasizing the importance of the Plan to achieve security and stability.

The session was attended by Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, the Foreign Ministry’s Undersecretary for Diplomatic Affairs, Khalid Hashel Al Musalhi, Head of the Minister’s Office Department, Ali Najafi Khoshroudi, Ambassador of Iran to Oman and members of the delegation accompanying the guest.
