MUSCAT: RemitBee, a Canadian financial services company has ranked the Omani Rial among the five strong currencies in the world.
In a report published on its website, the Omani Rial has been ranked the fifth strongest during the month of December 2021, along with the British Pound, Bahraini Dinar, Jordanian Dinar and Kuwaiti Dinar.
The Omani Rial, according to the report, is is equivalent to $2.60, and 3.30 Canadian dollars, which is one of the most expensive currencies in the world.

“Oman is one of the world’s oil suppliers and has a robust economy and a high standard of living for its residents. Oman Rial has a high purchasing power because it is pegged to US Dollar,” the report added.
