MUSCAT: The Royal Oman Police on Saturday arrested a motorist after a person was killed in a hit-and-run incident.
In a statement issued, ROP said person did not stop his vehicle and left the “scene of the accident.”
“The North Al Batinah Governorate Police Command stopped the driver of a vehicle who caused an accident to run over a person in the Wilayat of Saham and fled from the scene of the accident, which led to the death of the person, and the case is under procedure,” ROP said in the statement.
