MUSCAT : Al Maha Petroleum Products Marketing Company has announced its participation as the Silver Sponsor and Official Fuel Supplier of the recently held MENA Karting Nations Cup 2021. The championship, now in its second edition, was hosted by the Oman Automobile Association (OAA). As part of its sponsorship, Al Maha used its newly launched Fuely trucks for the trackside refuelling of all race karts for the duration of the Championship.

Speaking on Al Maha’s sponsorship of the karting championship, the CEO of Al Maha Petroleum, Eng. Hamed Al Mahgdri commented, “The MENA Karting Nations Cup is the region’s premier karting championship and one that we were pleased to be a part of. By doing so, we had the opportunity to not only support the racing dreams of so many talented racers but also help the country raise its profile as an international destination for sports tourism.”

The championship which kicked off on November 16 at the Muscat Speedway sees over 200 racers from 19 countries participate in races spanning eight race categories. The championship took place over the course of five days with the finals taking place on November 20. The entire championship was aired live on Oman Sports TV. As the official fuel supplier of the event, Al Maha had one of its recently launched ‘Fuely’ on-demand fuel delivery trucks trackside for the duration of the championship.

Eng. Hamed Al Mahgdri added, “We launched Fuely just under a month ago in order to fill a gap we saw in the market, offering our services to customers who feel stressed about visiting a station, instead, bringing the fuel to them with our new ‘Fuely’ on-demand fuel delivery service.”

Fuely, is a first-of-its-kind service in Oman, offering customers the convenience of ordering high-quality fuel from Al Maha to be delivered directly to your vehicle while you stay relaxed at home or office.

The service is currently available to customers in Mawaleh South, Al Hail North and South, Mabela, Al Khoud, Ghubrah, Azaiba, MSQ, Al-Khuwair, and Qurum, with more to come soon. That’s not all, Al Maha also has plans to grow this service beyond just fuel, adding some innovative value-added services as well as extending the service to corporate clients at a later date.
