MUSCAT: His Highness Sayyid Theyazin Bin Haitham Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, will patronize the opening ceremony of ICC T20 World Cup hosted by Oman on Sunday.
Sayyid Theyazin will attend the ceremony at the Oman Cricket stadium in Al Amerat.
Set to be held from October 17 to November 14, 2021, the prestigious tournament will be held in Oman and the neighbouring United Arab Emirates, after the International Cricket Council, cricket’s governing body, decided to switch venues from India, owing to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
