MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik on Tuesday presided over the Council of Ministers meeting at Al Barakah Palace.

During the cabinet meeting, His Majesty confirmed his follow-up to the measures taken to deal with the tropical cyclone Shaheen. His Majesty the Sultan directed all sectors of the state to coordinate closely to work before hand to deal with the implications of future emergency situations.

His Majesty the Sultan stressed the importance of finding mechanisms and channels of communication with young people to clarify all efforts made to meet the requirements of the development process in various sectors, and to listen to their aspirations and needs.

His Majesty stressed the necessity of integrating the efforts of all state institutions regarding employment initiatives approved by the government, directing constantly to find appropriate solutions and programs, and to follow up on the implementation of employment initiatives first hand.
