MUSCAT: Sri Lanka T20 World Cup squad led by Dasun Shanaka arrived in Oman to take part in a limited overs series ahead of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021.
The Sri Lankan team will play the first match against Oman on October 7 and the second on October 9 at Al Amerat Cricket Ground in Oman and will then return to the United Arab Emirates.
Sri Lanka Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman Ameer Ajwad said: “This will be the first time the two national teams of Sri Lanka and Oman will meet at international level and it coincidently happens this year when both countries are celebrating the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries”
