MUSCAT: Sheikh Saud bin Ali Al Khalili, the country’s first Minister of Education, has died on Thursday at the age of 85.
Sheikh Saud who was also a prominent businessman have contributed to the country’s growth during the blessed Renaissance since its inception in 1970.
Sheikh Saud was appointed as the first minister of the Ministry of Education in 1970, was also Oman’s first Ambassador to Egypt.
