MUSCAT: Oman’s long-serving national beach soccer team coach Talib Hilal has been ranked among 12 “Best Coach of the Year” by Beach Soccer World Wide (BSWW).
Hilal has been shortlisted in the list made up of the 12 best beach soccer coaches in the world for the 2021 season. A panel of experts will announce the top three coaches by end of October in a ceremony in Dubai.
An experienced coach, Talib has been credited to Oman’s rise in beach soccer.

“Captains and coaches of the national teams and clubs who have competed in Beach Soccer World Wide competitions over the last year will decide who is the best, casting their votes during the coming weeks,” a statement from BSWW said.
“The final three nominees will be announced at the end of October, with the winner being revealed at the Beach Soccer Stars Gala at the Intercontinental Beach Soccer Cup in Dubai,” the statement added.
