Indian Schools in Oman to reopen on October 3

Indian schools in Oman are all set to welcome students.

MUSCAT: Indian Schools in Oman will start on-campus classes in phases, starting from October 3, The Arabian Stories has learnt.

According to a circular issued by Indian School Muscat (ISM), students of Class 12 will return to campus on October 3, but they will follow a hybrid system that also includes virtual classes. Students will have to attend school on Sundays, Tuesday, and Thursdays, and return to online learning on Mondays and Wednesdays.

However, the dates for physical class for students of Class 9, 10 and 11 will be informed soon. Students are expected to be in the allotted classrooms before 7am. “The number of students in each classrooms will be as per the guidelines of Ministry of Education,” the circular from ISM said.

Meanwhile, Indian School Darsait said students will return to the school on October 3. For Class 10 and 12, the on-campus classes will begin on October 3, while Class 9 and 11 will start on October 17, and Class 7 and 8 will begin on November 1. The on-campus classes is between 7am to 10:30am, while 11:30am to 3:15pm.

According to the guidelines, all students will have to be vaccinated and they must carry the vaccination certificate while entering the school.
