MUSCAT: Within the context of the Royal directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik to provide employment for Omani jobseekers, the Ministry of Labour continued conducting tests for jobseekers competing to fill 168 vacancies in the State’s Administrative Apparatus (public sector) departments applying the central employment system of the Labour Ministry.

The tests were run at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Nizwa.

Salim Khalfan Al Wahaibi, Head of Tests and Interviews Management Team at the Ministry of Labour, said that the tests were conducted as planned.

Al Wahaibi added that the tests were run in a smooth and transparent manner. Once a candidate meets with general conditions to fill the job vacancy, he/she proceeds to the digitized test hall amid precautionary measures set by the Supreme Committee tasked with tackling developments resulting from coronavirus.

Al Wahaibi added that the results are announced as soon as the tests are over. Accordingly, the top performers are announced as given the jobs.
