MUSCAT: Expat residents who have taken one dose of approved vaccination in Oman and are stranded abroad can return but certain conditions apply, the country’s Minister of Health said on Thursday.
His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Al Saidi said quarantine, however, is mandatory for “these residents who took single dose from Oman.”
“Residents who have taken one dose of the approved vaccine from Oman can return but they must take a PCR test 72-hours before travel, and must take another PCR upon arrival in Oman. They must also go into quarantine for 7-days. They must also take a PCR test on the 8th day. They should also vaccinate with the second dose soon after in Oman,” Al Saidi informed.
