MUSCAT: Bank Muscat, the leading financial services provider in the Sultanate of Oman, continues to bring joy and happiness to its customers through its innovative Al Mazyona prize draws. In line with its commitment to promoting a good savings habit, the bank recently gave away 661 cash prizes worth OMR 640,000 during the monthly draws for July. The winners included lucky customers from the Governorate of Dhofar, which was highlighted during the draw. Draws were also conducted for a number of customer segments including Asalah Priority Banking, Al Jawhar Privilege Banking, the monthly mega draw and draws for all the governorates, in line with the bank’s keenness to provide as many chances as possible to its customers to win attractive prizes.

Al Mazyona draws, which are livestreamed on the bank’s social media channels on Twitter, YouTube and Instagram, are well known for their transparency and are keenly followed by the bank’s customers and the general public. During the draws for July, Bank Muscat highlighted its excellent network in Dhofar, where the bank operates 13 branches in addition to 38 ATMs, 7 CDMs and 18 FFMs (full-function machines) for the benefit and convenience of its customers.

The monthly draws for Dhofar and other governorates saw a total of 420 winners wining prizes of OMR 500 each, while one lucky winner won the monthly mega prize of OMR 50,000. All customers who maintained a minimum balance of OMR 100 were automatically entered into the monthly draws for governorates while the winner of the mega draw was chosen from amongst customers maintaining a minimum balance of OMR 1,000. Also, 10 Asalah customers won OMR 25,000 each and 20 Al Jawhar customers won OMR 5,000 each in the other draws. It must be noted that all Asalah customers who maintained a minimum balance of OMR 30,000 and Al Jawhar customers maintaining a minimum balance of RO 10,000 were automatically entered into these monthly draws. Ten Zeinah customers won OMR 1,000 each in the draws, which followed the main draws. Draws were also held for the bank’s Shababi and Children’s account holders with 100 winners each being selected in the two categories to win OMR 100 each.

Al Mazyona is the longest-running savings scheme, offering the largest prizes in the country. In 2021, the scheme will offer OMR 11 million to 7,470 winners, with the number of winners going up by 12 percent compared to last year. Recently Bank Muscat held its special Mid-year draw, where 92 lucky winners from different governorates as well as the Asalah and Al Jawhar segments won over OMR 1.5 million in total. The Mid-Year draw included two special prizes of OMR 250,000 each. The bank has also announced a number of other special draws to be held during the rest of the year along with the regular monthly draws including the National Day draw and the End-of-the-Year draw. Bank Muscat has called on its customers to increase their savings to get more chances to win exciting prizes in the Al Mazyona savings scheme.
