MUSCAT: Coronavirus infections in Oman have hit a one-month high, as for the first time since May 3, the country registered more than 1,000 new cases.
On Monday, the Ministry of Health (MOH) registered 1041 new Covid-19 cases, showing an increase in the daily cases.
Meanwhile, 336 people died battling the virus in one month in the country, taking the total death cases to 2345. Oman’s total coronavirus cases touched 217,224, while 808 patients are admitted in various hospitals of which 247 are in ICU.
