MUSCAT: Shopping malls, restaurants, shops and cafes must limit the entry of customers to 50 per cent starting from May 15, as the country gradually eases its coronavirus restrictions, Supreme Committee said on Thursday.
“The decision to limit entry to complexes, shops, restaurants, and cafes will continue (only 50 per cent capacity) during the period allowed to receive customers,” the statement from the committee said.
Earlier from May 8 to 15, as part of tightening COVID-19 measures, the committee had directed to close all commercial activities throughout the day. However, with the new decisions, the committee has allowed 50 per cent entry of customers to shopping malls, shops, restaurants and cafes.
