Oman International Hospital organizes series of introductory tours

MUSCAT: Oman International Hospital has recently organized a series of exclusive introductory tours for the public and private sector entities and institutions, as well as insurance companies. The hospital’s management team showcased a detailed presentation on the services that will be available in the upcoming weeks after the official opening of the hospital. Oman International Hospital is a joint investment between Oman Brunei Investment Company, Suhail Bahwan Group and Idealmed GHS, a modern multi-speciality hospital that focuses on providing the highest standards of healthcare.

Oman International Hospital comprises a team of the most qualified health professionals in various specializations, both within and outside the Sultanate, as well as recognized partners from the academic field as also hosts medical and pharmaceutical domains. For its establishment, OIH collaborated with IT and Architecture and Certification companies to ensure the hospital’s ability to provide the best services, while keeping in mind the patient’s well-being and comfort. 

Commenting on the tours, Dr. José Alexandre Cunha, Chairman of Idealmed GHS and Board Member of OIH said, “We are proud of the positive reactions we have received from everyone who visited the hospital during the recent introductory tours. Visitors were given insight into the immense potential of OIH and the quality of services, in line with the highest international standards, which we look forward to providing to all the people in the Sultanate of Oman and in the Governorate of Muscat specifically. The OIH is the largest private health entity in Oman, with an area of ​​42,000 sqm and it is ready to allocate +200 beds, have 41 medical consultation offices, 73 observation/treatment/exam rooms, five operating theatres, three delivery rooms, an emergency department, full range of intensive care units, a radiology department, a medical SPA, R&D facilities and four laboratories”.

The introductory tours saw the presence of a number of the largest health insurance companies in the Sultanate, as well as several private and public institutions that provide health insurance for their employees. Furthermore, everyone that visited was highly impressed and satisfied with the high level and standards of service of the pioneering hospital and noted that it will truly be a valuable addition to the health care sector in the Sultanate.

Integrated into the same complex, OIH has four main Excellence Centres, namely the Women’s & Children’s Centre, the Heart & Vascular Centre, Ortho & Spine Centre and the Oman Vision Centre. Each Centre adopts the latest medical practices and state-of-the-art medical technologies.
