Fine, jail for driving with a cancelled licence in Oman

MUSCAT : Driving a vehicle with a cancelled licence is a punishable offence and can lead to a jail term of three months and a fine of OMR 500, Oman’s Public Prosecution said on Wednesday.

In a statement issued, Public Prosecution said: “Driving a vehicle with a cancelled licence or a withdrawn plate number or with revoked or cancelled driver’s licence is an offense punishable by imprisonment for a period of three months and a fine of OMR 500 or by either one of these two sentences.”
