MUSCAT: Home delivery service from foodstuff shops and restaurants are allowed post 8pm during the night closure, the Government Communication Centre (GC) said on Friday.
“Home delivery service for foodstuff shops and restaurants is now among the exempted business activities from 8 pm to 5 am,” GC said in the statement.
The clarification comes after the Supreme Committee exempted home delivery service from night closure. “Petrol stations, health institutions, private pharmacies, home delivery services, and shops selling and vehicle tyre shops located in fuel stations are now exempted from the night closure,” the statement from the Supreme Committee said.
