MUSCAT: The Honourable Lady, Spouse of His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has extended her greetings on the occasion of International Women’s Day, which falls on March 8.
“Today, as we share this happy occasion with the world, we are proud of what Omani women have achieved both locally and internationally, which reflects an advanced national vision,” she said in her statement.
“We also recall with appreciation the great efforts made by women in our dear homeland and across all countries of the world in building, developing and supporting their families and societies, and the active and influential contributions to humanitarian and global issues, driven by the spirit of responsibility,” she added.
