MUSCAT: The Supreme Committee has decided to close all commercial activities in all governorates of the Sultanate between 8pm to 5am from March 4 until March 20 in the wake of rising coronavirus cases.
The closure also includes restaurants and cafes within the tourist facilities in addition to home delivery services, with the exception of fuel stations, health institutions and private pharmacies.
The committee also approved the continuation of students receiving education in public schools by means of distance learning during the period from Sunday, March 7 to Thursday, March 11, provided that during this period, this is evaluated in accordance with the developments of the epidemiological situation in the Sultanate.
