MUSCAT: The Public Prosecution on Thursday issued names and photos of three Omani citizens who violated the Supreme Committee decisions and sentenced them to three months in prison and a fine of OMR 1,000.
In a statement issued, the Public Prosecution said a primary court in North Batinah and Dhofar Governorate convicted three citizens for violating institutional quarantine procedures and not wearing face masks in public. “Primary courts in North Batinah and Dhofar convicted three citizens for violating the institutional quarantine procedures and not wearing masks in public as instructed by the Supreme Committee on COVID-19 and sentenced them to three months in prison and a fine of OMR 1000,” the statement said.
