MUSCAT: The Government Communication Center (GC) on Sunday shot down rumours of a lockdown in Muscat Governorate because of coronavirus.
In a statement issued, GC said: “What is being circulated about the existence of decisions issued by the Supreme Committee related to the closure of the Governorate of Muscat and the suspension of studies in educational institutions is not true.
Oman on Sunday registered over 800 new cases of coronavirus.
