MUSCAT: Ministry of Health has urged citizens and residents to avoid travelling outside the country in the wake of new Covid-19 strain.
In a statement issued MOH said: “The Ministry of Health calls on citizens and residents not to travel unless absolutely necessary during the current period, especially with the emergence of new and mutated strains of the virus.”
Oman’s total coronavirus cases touched 139,362 after 868 cases have been reported on Sunday.
