MUSCAT: India on Thursday announced 45 new repatriation flights from Oman starting from October 1.
More than 15 flights have been scheduled to Kerala, while the others are scheduled to New Delhi, Lucknow, Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad as part of the Vande Bharat Mission.
“As in the case of flights operated earlier under Vande Bharat Mission, passenger lists for all the above-mentioned flights will be finalized by the Embassy on the basis of information received by it,” a statement from the embassy said.

“However, priority will be given to medical emergency cases, pregnant women, workers in distress, senior citizens as well as to other Indian nationals who are stranded in difficult situations,” the statement added.
