MUSCAT: His Excellency Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Committee visited the field hospital to treat Covid-19 patients at old Muscat airport on Monday.
The Ministry of Health will open the field hospital at the Muscat airport premises that will have a
capacity of 200 to 300 beds. According to Dr. Ahmed Al Saidi, Minister of Health, the field hospital which is expected to open this month will treat patients who do not require intensive care and will reduce pressure on hospitals.
