MUSCAT: National airline Oman Air has announced its plans to return to scheduled service after the country reopens its airports on October 1.
According to the statement issued to the media, Oman Air will fly to 16 cities in 12 countries that also include Mumbai, Kochi and Delhi in India. However, flights to India “are subject to Indian authorities lifting restrictions for scheduled international passenger flights,” Oman Air said in the statement.
The airline will also connect from Muscat to London, Istanbul, Frankfurt, Cairo, Dubai, Doha, Dar Es Salaam, Zanzibar, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Lahore and Islamabad.

The scheduled service will also connect Muscat and Khasab, Oman.
With high demand expected for travel on scheduled flights, those who plan to fly with Oman Air should contact the airline, via its website Call Centre or travel agents, as quickly as possible to ensure that they secure reservations for flights that suit their preferences.
“Guests who are planning to depart from Oman should also ensure that they are aware of all pre-departure requirements, which are provided at omanair.com, as well as the requirements at their destinations,” the statement added.
