MUSCAT: The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology has informed that it will repair the cracks and potholes of Fazah-Al Rassa road in Wilayat Liwa soon.
The confirmation from the Ministry comes after a video by a social media user explaining the condition of the road went viral on Tuesday. According to the Ministry a tender for repairing the road would be announced soon.
“With reference to the video circulating about the Fazah-Al Rassa road in wilayat of Liwa, the Ministry wants to clarify that it is tracking the status of the road and is aware of the importance of its maintenance. A rehabilitation tender will be announced during this period,” the Ministry said in a statement.
