MUSCAT: The Supreme Committee to tackle the economic impact of Covid-19 reviewed the measures taken to support the private sector institutions and companies.
The committee headed by His Excellency Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidy, Minister of Interior and Chairman of the committee also discussed ways to enhance the ability of private sector companies to adapt to exceptional situations.
The committee also discussed preventive measures and relief packages related to commercial and industrial activities and facilities provided by the government to private sector institutions and companies, in addition to the emergency loans program to help some of the most affected groups of entrepreneurs in the country.
